Session 1/4 for 2020 Quarterly Seminars:
Session 1: “No Union, No Matter – How Board Decisions Impact You!“
- At the end of 2019, the Labor Board issued a flurry of rulings which have a significant impact on both unionized and non-unionized workplaces. This program will cover how the decisions have changed the legal landscape, often returning to a previous legal standard. These rulings impact employees’ ability to use work email, arbitration deferrals, and prohibitions on discussing pending investigations, among others. We will also conduct a brief review of Wage and Hour updates for 2020.
