About the Artists:

  1. Debra Snyder: Alcohol Ink on Tile. Debra will demo how to create abstract, landscape, tropical and/or floral designs with various techniques. Alcohol inks have extremely vibrant colors due to heavy pigmentation. Alcohol ink is a fun and unique medium, allowing for simple creative freedom.
  2. Alicia Jane Boswell: Torch Fire Enamel Demonstration. Fusing vibrant colors of vitreous enamel/powered glass on precious metal with only a metalsmithing torch, this demonstration will cover how to use delicate layers of glass in order to make contemporary designs and patterns for wearable jewelry.
  3. Mark Walnock and Stephen Futej: Wheelwork. Enjoy a wheel demonstration and a hand built sculpting demonstrations. Learn more about clay with these demonstrations using two primary techniques- throwing a vessel on the pottery wheel, and hand building a sculpture using freeform sculpting methods and slab construction.
