Chair of State University System Board of Governors to Address Business Leaders

Syd Kitson, Chair of the Board of Governors for the State
University System of Florida, will address the South Florida
business community on June 25, at 2 p.m. Kitson will speak on the
anticipated opening and operation of our state universities.
Kitson is Chairman and CEO of Kitson & Partners, a Florida-based
real estate company specializing in the creation and development
of master-planned communities and commercial properties. In
2006, he completed the historic purchase of Babcock Ranch in
Southwest Florida, encompassing more than 91,000 acres.
Kitson is a Past Chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and
currently serves as Vice Chair of the Florida Council of 100.
This one hour virtual event is presented by the South Florida
Business Council, comprised of the Greater Miami Chamber of
Commerce, Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber and Chamber of
Commerce of the Palm Beaches.
