Effective Communication with the Hearing Impaired in Spaces of Public Accommodation

Who: Healthcare professionals seeking informed consent from patients and best possible outcomes for them.
What: As with ramps and curb-cuts for wheelchairs and walkers, wireless technology exists for those who depend upon hearing aids and cochlear implants.
Why: Patients, family members and staff need to understand each other clearly, even when challenged by hearing loss
When: Every time on of the 300k hearing impaired in Palm Beach County visits your practice or facility
