Description
PBA Early Music Ensemble presents a 400th year anniversary performance of Monteverdi's 1610 Vespersfeaturing period-instrument orchestra, chorus and vocal soloists. Directed by Michael O'Connor andGeoffrey Holland. The Early Music Ensemble will present highlights from Claudio Monteverdi's Vespers for the Blessed Virgin, composed in 1610. The ensemble celebrates the 400th anniversary of thecomposition of this masterpiece of the dawn of the Baroque Era with full period-instrument orchestra, chorus and vocal soloists. Tickets: $10 general admission; $5 students with student ID.
