Description
The PBA Dance Ensemble will premiere a modern, folk-inspired work by internationally recognized Haitian choreographer Jeanguy Saintus. Program highlights include a contemporary ballet by guest choreographer Jerry Opdenaker, founding artistic director of ODance; a Christian-based hip-hop piece by choreographer Sonja Kelly of Divinity Dance; a tap/jazz piece by musical theatre choreographer JacquieLopez; and the premiere of a modern dance work by Samantha Pardes, a PBA alumna visiting from New York City. Featured student choreographers include Ashley Broom, Denton Gay and Ivy Canapa. Directed byKathleen Klein. Tickets: $10 general admission; $5 for students with student ID.
